We bring seller and buyer to one table — without the market knowing
Our mission: give mid-sized Egyptian companies discreet, disciplined access to the right capital and partners — and give buyers verified opportunities that never trade in public.
Why “Safqah”?
“They struck hands on it.”
In Lisan al-Arab: a safqah is the striking of hand on hand when a sale is concluded; people who “tasafaqu” have closed a deal.
We chose the name because a deal, at its origin, is a moment of agreement between two parties who know and trust each other. Our work is getting both sides to that moment — after verification, after confidentiality, and after each approves the other.
What Safqah is — and isn't
We represent both sides — in writing
Each party signs an engagement letter stating that Safqah represents both seller and buyer, the limits of that representation, how fees are calculated and who pays them. We take nothing not written in the letter and never favour one side on information or timing.
What we hold to
Invite-only, on both sides
